Our initial quotation is intended to be a reliable basis for your project. As the design becomes more detailed, Glasspace checks that the scope and cost remain aligned with the proposal you accepted.

Where the agreed scope and site assumptions remain unchanged, our aim is to maintain the original quoted price.

Reviewing the final scope

We compare the developed design with the quotation, including the dimensions, glass specification, door configuration and foundation works covered by our package.

We confirm what Glasspace will deliver and what needs to be arranged separately. Site preparation, structural alterations, drainage and finishes must have clear owners, particularly where another contractor is involved.

If you request a change or investigations identify additional work, we explain the effect on cost and timing. Any proposed adjustment is set out for your agreement before the affected work proceeds.

Agreeing a workable programme

We review the required design sign-offs and approval status before placing orders. Manufacturing lead times are then coordinated with site preparation, delivery and installation.

Access and lifting arrangements are part of that planning. We also confirm payment stages and how later changes will be recorded and agreed.

The programme needs to reflect the actual order of work. Where one task depends on another, such as checking an opening before releasing its glass for manufacture, that dependency is explained.

Understanding your commitment

Before moving forward, you should know the agreed price, its inclusions and exclusions, and the anticipated programme. This is the point to resolve any remaining questions about the quotation or division of responsibilities.
