Installation is when your glass extension takes shape. Our fitting teams bring extensive experience and knowledge of specialist equipment, together with respect for the home where they are working.

We want the care taken during design to be evident on site.

Working thoughtfully in your home

We protect the agreed working areas, keep access routes clear and maintain a tidy site. Organised storage and regular housekeeping help keep the work manageable around your household.

The team explains what to expect during installation and coordinates with other trades where their work affects the assembly sequence.

Handling and positioning the glass

Before delivery, we confirm access, the installation sequence and the lifting equipment suited to the panels and site conditions.

Our fitters work to the agreed plans when handling and positioning the glass. Conditions are reviewed throughout: wind or unsuitable weather may require lifting or sealing work to be rescheduled.

As the structure is assembled, the team completes the supports, connections and seals, checking alignment and the visible details as work progresses.

Integrating the sliding doors

The sliding doors are built into the extension's structure during assembly, without a separate above-ground supporting subframe. The team checks their alignment and operation alongside the adjacent glass panels and junctions.

This coordination is why accurate surveys, engineering and site preparation matter long before the installation team arrives.

Once assembly is complete, we inspect the work and identify any remaining finishing items. Waste and protective materials are cleared as appropriate, ready for final checking and handover.
