The last panel being installed does not mark the end of our work. We check the finish, explain how to use the extension and make sure you understand how any outstanding items will be resolved.
Your glass room is an investment in family life, and the details affect how it feels to use every day.
Walking through the finished work
We review the glass surfaces, visible connections, seals and door alignment. Drainage details are checked and any testing specified for the project is completed.
We then walk through the extension with you. This is your opportunity to ask questions and point out anything you would like us to examine.
Any snagging items are recorded, with clear arrangements for addressing them. You should know what remains to be done and how it will be followed up.
Showing you how everything works
We demonstrate the opening, closing and locking of your sliding doors and explain any ventilation controls included in our installation.
We also provide cleaning and maintenance guidance suited to the glass coatings, seals and door components. Using the correct methods helps preserve the finishes and keep moving parts operating smoothly.
Drainage areas that need to remain clear are explained as part of this guidance.
Providing the handover information
Relevant warranties and completion documents are supplied or coordinated with the responsible members of the project team. Any outstanding documentation is identified so its status is clear.
By the end of handover, you should feel comfortable using the room and know whom to contact with a question.
